Teelixir Astragalus Root contains Astragalus root, an important “Qi tonifying” adaptogen that may provide energizing and strengthening effects to balance all systems in the body. Traditionally known as "The Great Protector," Astragalus is highly valued as an immune tonic that may support and enhance the body’s innate and adaptive immune system.
Astragalus membranaceus is considered one of the most important herbal tonics in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). It has been used throughout Asia for thousands of years and is highly valued for its ability to strengthen the primary energy of the body. Astragalus root extract may be an excellent tonic for athletes and performers for increasing physical energy, strength and endurance. Astragalus may also be a superb lung tonic. Astragalus Root 10:1 Dual Extract Powder*
*Wild cultivated and organically grown Astragalus membranaceus root (Legume family). No added grains, fillers, preservatives, salt, sugar or starch.
Unlike other Astragalus supplements, Teelixir Astragalus roots are wild cultivated deep in the mountains, far from cities or any industrial pollution. Our unique dual extraction (water and alcohol) processing makes Teelixir Astragalus root extract rich in polysaccharides and saponin fractions (such as Astragaloside IV).
Origin: Gansu province, China and Inner Mongolia regions.
Use Suggestion
We recommend starting with 1/4 - 1/2 tsp (1.6g) Astragalus root extract per day. If you are sensitive to herbs, you may want to start with less. When your body feels ready, you can increase your dosage according to your daily needs. Best to use between the AM and late afternoon.
HOW TO USE ASTRAGALUS ROOT POWDER
For fast absorption, mix the Astragalus root powder directly into coffee, hot tea or your favourite plant based milk. Astragalus root is also a delicious addition to your smoothies, hot chocolates, soup broths, raw desserts, baked goods and more. To enjoy the most health benefits, regularly consume for 30-100 days. This extract is not sensitive to heat.
